Frequently Asked Questions:

  • What’s up with the new booking schedule for editing? Editing is now only open for booking once or twice a year and those dates will only be available to those that subscribe to my newsletter. This change was made to help my clients and myself to plan ahead a little better, to cut down on the time spent corresponding with inquiries and requests, and to allow me to anticipate my finances in the coming months with more clarity. Please make sure you follow The Rebel Newsletter so you know when the appointment window is live.

  • How do I transfer your book or pdf to my Kindle?  How to email your PDF to your Kindle:

    1. Log in to your Amazon account on your computer and go to the “Manage Your Content and Devices” page.

    2. Click on the “Preferences” tab and scroll down to the “Personal Document Settings” section.

    3. Under “Approve Personal Document Email List,” make sure the email address you will be sending the PDF from is added to the list. If it’s not, click “Add a new approved email address” and follow the prompts.

    4. Note the “Send-to-Kindle Email” address associated with your Kindle device.

    5. Attach the PDF file you want to send to the email and send it to the “Send-to Kindle Email” address associated with the Kindle device.

    6. Wait for a few minutes, and the PDF file should automatically appear on your Kindle device in the “Documents” Section. 

    That’ s it! You should now be able to read the document on your Kindle like any other book. Please note that Amazon may charge a small fee for sending the PDF file over 3G/4G network, so it’s best to send the PDF via Wifi if possible.

  • I decided I don't need the coaching I bought, can I get a refund? No, all sales are final. But you can gift your session to another writer. Please let me know you are transferring the credit to them and supply the writers name before they reach out to book their appointment.

  • Can I reschedule my Writing Career Consult call? I am happy to reschedule a call one time with at least 4 hours notice of the appointment. Any calls canceled within 4 hours of the appointment or where the writer is a no-show for the call is non-refundable. Clients 15 minutes late for an appointment will be considered a no-show.

  • I am not going to be able to make my novel consult appointment. Can I get my deposit back? Deposits are nonrefundable.

  • Can I move my novel consult appointment out? You are welcome to move your appointment if I have availability, but you will lose your deposit for the appointment you want to cancel, and a new appointment will require a new deposit.

  • I didn't like this e-resource or book I bought, can I return it? All sales are final.

  • Will you review my book? Maybe, but not in a timely manner. I love supporting other writers but I often can’t meet the deadlines requested. I will add it to my to-read pile. If I enjoy it, I will feature it on social media, in newsletters, or leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads or another review site. No promises. If I don’t get into it, I will not leave a public review. I will also now only consider physical books. I don’t enjoy e-reading and most of the ebooks sent to me remain unread. To send a physical copy to me, please email me for my address with subject title: Review My Book. When I have finished reading it, the book will be donated to the Little Free Library by my house for another reader to enjoy.
